Retro Stars event detailed breakdown
The Retro Stars event has officially launched in FC Mobile, bringing along an array of exciting features and rewards. This 4-week-long event is packed with legendary players, special rewards, and engaging challenges spread across three main chapters: Intro Chapter, Retro Arcade, and Retro Rewards.
Intro Chapter
The Intro Chapter is fairly straightforward and provides players with milestone rewards that update every week
- Week 1: 1.5 million coins
- Week 2: 1000 gems
- Week 3: A 94-99 rated Retro Stars player pack
- Week 4: A Mascherano card
In addition, there is a daily match that rewards resources and 20 Retro Tickets, accumulating to 560 tickets over the four weeks. However, tickets can also be obtained from various sources like Legend Points, Pass Points, and Universal Tokens. Universal Tokens now allow daily exchanges of 1200 tokens for 400 Retro Tickets.
Retro Arcade Chapter
The Retro Arcade Chapter is the core of the event, where players can earn the most valuable rewards. Each day, players receive a Retro Token, which grants access to challenges featuring iconic teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus, and more. Completing all challenges in one go is key, as failure means waiting until the next day to try again.
Successfully completing all the challenges across the four weeks rewards players with a 99-rated Stoichkov card. Those who manage to finish all challenges without failing receive the prestigious "In One Go" Premium Animated Logo, while others receive the "Continue?" Animated Logo. As the weeks progress, new levels (Level 2 in Week 2, Level 3 in Week 3, and Level 4 in Week 4) will unlock, each with new challenges.
Retro Rewards Chapter
This chapter is where players can spend their Retro Tickets to claim valuable rewards. The rewards board features three rows
- Top Row: Main rewards include a 97-101 rated Retro Pack and a Mascherano card.
- Second Row: Special items like vintage logos, kits, and emotes.
- Bottom Row: Additional resources.
These rewards refresh every week, allowing players to continuously collect them. Moreover, collecting all the top-row rewards across all four weeks unlocks the 98-100 rated Retro Super Pack, a highly coveted prize.
The Retro Redeem Machine also offers exciting rewards. Each spin costs 200 tickets, with 10 spins offering a 10% discount (costing 1800 tickets). The machine offers items such as a 97-100 rated Retro Pack, Mascherano, and other valuable resources. Players should time their spins based on daily increase chances for specific rewards to maximize their gains.
Star Pass
The event also comes with a Star Pass, offering both free and premium rewards
- Free Pass: Includes a 96-rated Retro Stars Player Pack, 2 Mascherano cards, and various resources.
- Premium Pass: Adds a 99-rated Luis Figo RW card, an additional 5 Mascherano cards, a premium logo, and various other players and resources including Laudrup, Pires, Koeman, and 1500 FC points.
Exchanges
Similar to the Hall of Legends event, Retro Stars includes daily and weekly exchanges for higher-rated player packs:
- 94-101 Pack x2: Requires 94+ players x3, 90+ players x3, and 85+ players x5 (limit 5 times daily).
- 94-101 Pack x3: Requires 94+ Retro Stars players x4 (limit 1 time daily).
- Weekly Mascherano Exchange and Daily Bonus Exchanges are also available, allowing players to maximize their returns.
