About RenderZ
From one football fan to the world.
RenderZ is what happens when obsessive football fandom, a deep love for EA Sports FC (back then just "FIFA"), intensely competitive DNA, and some programming knowledge all crash together to catalyze something new and awesome.
Our origin story
How it all started
On a Christmas night
In 2017, Sebastiaan Dirks, then a young computer scientist in the Netherlands, played FIFA every single day. Noticing the lack of tools to make data-driven team-building decisions in FIFA Mobile, he decided to create his own.
On 22 December 2017, with hot chocolate and spaghetti in hand, he began building RenderZ from his bedroom. Nine sleepless days later, on January 1, 2018, RenderZ was born, starting as a basic searchable player database.
While studying Computer Science at Windesheim University, interning at Payaut B.V., and working at Amazon, Sebastiaan kept building RenderZ. The project evolved with regular updates, gaining a passionate community along the way.
Built by FCM players with passion
RenderZ is now the #1 FC Mobile player database and community hub. With over 175,000 daily users and more than 5 million unique users each game cycle, players can:
- Search through 30,000+ footballers
- Compare stats
- Upgrade players
- Build and share teams using the Squadbuilder. The website and apps equip players with the tools to strategize, optimize, and enjoy FC Mobile to the fullest.
The team behind RenderZ
In March 2023, Sebastiaan partnered with Victor Folmann to scale up the platform. Now, RenderZ has a medium-sized team of football fanatics:
