New Top Duos Event
With the Capped Legends event now in its final week, FC Mobile has added a brand-new side promo called Top Duos. It’s a short 2-week event, but it brings a clean structure with matches, tokens, and most importantly, a fresh draft system where the best rewards are concentrated.
The event includes four chapters - Info, Main, Rewards, and Featured. The Featured chapter is just an overview, while the Main chapter is where players actually grind. Here, you need to complete multiple AI matches to earn Top Duos Tokens. These tokens are then used in the Rewards chapter to claim various resources. Alongside this, a special ticket can be used in the Info chapter to unlock one of three guaranteed duo packs - 113 OVR Koller & Rosický, Bruno Guimarães & Tonali, or Gabriel & Saliba. This gives players a solid starting reward early in the event.
However, like most recent promos, the main highlight is the Top Duos Draft, which is the primary way to obtain the best and highest OVR cards. The draft follows the familiar multi-pool structure seen in events like TOTY and Capped Legends. Typically, the system is divided into three pools
Pool A - Top-tier cards (highest OVR and most valuable players)
Pool B - Mid-tier cards with decent value
Pool C - Lower-tier rewards with base-level players
Most of the top duos cards are placed in Pool A and Pool B, making these the main targets for players.
The progression system is also the same. Every time you open a draft using Draft Vouchers, your count increases. There are guaranteed milestones built into the system
After 10 drafts - Guaranteed Pool B or higher
After 100 drafts - Guaranteed Pool A player
This makes the draft system less dependent on pure luck and more about consistent progression. Even if you don’t pack a top card early, you are always building toward a guaranteed reward.
Since this is Week 1, only the initial batch of Top Duos players is available in the draft pool right now. But as the event is confirmed to last for 2 weeks, a Week 2 refresh is expected, where new players will be added and the draft pool will update. Just like previous events, the draft count will most likely remain unchanged, meaning your progress carries over into the next week.
Another important detail is that drafts are currently the only reliable way to target top-tier Top Duos players, making vouchers extremely valuable during this event. While exchanges and rewards exist, the best cards are clearly centered around the draft system.
Overall, Top Duos is a straightforward but rewarding side event. With easy-to-complete matches, guaranteed duo packs, and a progression-based draft system, it gives players another strong opportunity to grind for high-value cards alongside the ongoing Capped Legends event.
