New Flashback Draft Returns in FC Mobile
EA Sports FC Mobile has brought back the Flashback theme with a new Draft update, introducing another batch of Flashback cards into the game. The update arrived with the Thursday UTC content refresh, continuing the trend of rotating special player batches through the Draft system.
Flashback cards highlight memorable moments or standout periods from a player's career, and these items are often designed with strong attributes that reflect those peak performances. Earlier in the season during the TOTY event, EA had already introduced a Flashback promo that gained massive attention across the community.
That earlier Flashback release included some huge names such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dani Carvajal, Rúben Dias, and Marcus Rashford. Those cards quickly became some of the most talked-about items due to both their star power and gameplay impact.
In the earlier Flashback promo, players were able to obtain these cards through Drafts as well as Exchanges. The Draft system included both tradable and untradable versions of the cards, which meant supply was already entering the market and players had multiple ways to obtain them.
This time, EA has taken a slightly different rollout approach. The new Flashback cards first appeared yesterday through Exchanges when the Thursday UTC content update went live. Those exchange rewards are untradable, meaning the first access to these players was limited to exchange claims.
Now, with the Flashback Draft added today, tradable versions of these new cards are also entering the system, which will naturally increase their availability in the market and provide another route for players to obtain them.
Flashback Draft Structure
The Flashback Draft follows the same structure players have become familiar with across recent events. Rewards are divided into three separate pools based on overall ratings, creating a tiered progression system that gradually improves the chances of obtaining higher-rated cards.
Pool C contains 108 to 112 OVR TOTY players and represents the most common rewards within the Draft. These cards form the base tier and will appear frequently when opening Draft packs.
Pool B includes the mid-tier Flashback players rated between 113 and 115 OVR. Players are guaranteed to receive a Pool B card or higher within every ten Drafts, ensuring steady progression toward better rewards.
At the top sits Pool A, which contains the elite Flashback items rated between 116 and 117 OVR. These are the most valuable rewards available in the Draft system. If a player does not pull a Pool A item earlier, one is guaranteed after a maximum of one hundred Drafts.
An important aspect of this Draft update is that no new voucher currency has been introduced. The Flashback Draft uses the same universal FC Draft Vouchers already used across other events. This means players who have saved vouchers can immediately participate without needing to grind for a new currency.
Flashback Player Exchanges
Alongside the Draft system, EA has also introduced several dedicated Flashback exchanges, allowing players to target specific ratings through Phase 2 Tokens.
One of the main options is a 117 OVR Flashback Player Pack, which allows players to obtain a player from the 117-rated Flashback batch. This exchange costs 900 “26 Phase 2 Tokens” and can be claimed up to two times. The exchange will remain available for 41 days, giving players a long window to collect tokens and complete the requirement.
Another exchange option focuses on the slightly lower tier of Flashback players. The 116 OVR Flashback Player Pack costs 300 Phase 2 Tokens and can also be claimed up to two times during the same 41-day availability window.
In addition to these standard exchanges, EA has also introduced a limited-time discounted exchange for a 117 OVR Flashback player. This special offer provides a 50 percent discount, reducing the cost from 900 tokens to 450 Phase 2 Tokens. However, this discounted exchange can only be claimed once and will expire at the next Thursday UTC reset, making it a short-term opportunity for players who have been saving tokens.

The new Flashback batch includes several high-profile players that immediately caught the community’s attention.
Among the biggest highlights are Robert Lewandowski and Theo Hernández, both arriving as 117 OVR Flashback cards. These players are expected to be among the most sought-after rewards due to their strong gameplay presence and meta relevance.
