Future Stars Promo Comes to an End
Two weeks ago, on 19 February, FC Mobile introduced the Future Stars event alongside the closing phase of the massive Team of the Year campaign. It was designed as a short side event lasting only 14 days, but despite its simple structure, it managed to deliver some engaging gameplay and solid rewards for active players.
During the first week of the event, players could participate in skill games, matches, and quests while also exploring the Future Stars Draft, which featured several exciting young prospects. Inside the Pick Your Prospects section, three 111 OVR players were available to choose from - Niccolò Pisilli, Franco Mastantuono, and Luka Vušković. Players could select one of these cards for free and then gradually upgrade it. By completing the Academy Training skill games and matches and finishing the Scout Quests, the chosen player could be upgraded from 111 OVR to the 112 OVR Wonderkid version and eventually to the 113 OVR Superstar version with a Red Rank.
In Week 2, the event refreshed with a new set of prospects. Emanuel Emegha, Patrick Dorgu, and Vitor Reis replaced the Week 1 players in the Pick Your Prospects section. Just like before, one of these players could be claimed for free and upgraded through the same progression path. Completing the available skill games, matches, and quests allowed players to transform their chosen card into a 113 OVR Superstar version once again.
The Future Stars Draft also received an update during the second week. Several new high-value cards were added to the draft pool, giving players additional chances to pack strong prospects while using their draft vouchers.
Overall, the event offered a nice balance between simple gameplay and rewarding progression. The guaranteed upgrade path to a 113 OVR Red Rank player in both weeks made it particularly appealing for players looking to strengthen their squads without relying heavily on luck.
As of 5 March (Thursday), the Future Stars event has officially come to an end. However, the Future Stars Exchanges are still available in the game and will remain active for another 49 days. These exchanges also include options from other recently concluded side events such as Ginga and Lunar New Year.
Players can convert their unused 113+ OVR cards into Phase 2 Tokens and then spend those tokens in the Exchange section. This gives everyone another opportunity to obtain Future Stars players they may have missed during the event or target specific cards they were unable to pack earlier. The exchange requirements follow the usual structure - 117 OVR players require 900 Phase 2 Tokens, 116 OVR players require 300 Tokens, 115 OVR players require 75 Tokens, and so on for the lower tiers.
Even though the Future Stars promo was short-lived, it provided a fun grind with guaranteed upgrades and useful rewards. With the exchanges still available, players still have time to secure some of the event’s standout cards even after the event itself has concluded.
