Capped Legends Week 2 Cards Teased

Capped Legends Week 2 Teaser Drops

EA Sports FC Mobile has officially dropped the teaser for the upcoming Week 2 cards of the Capped Legends event, and as expected, the community is already deep into speculation mode.

With Week 2 set to go live this Thursday UTC, the Draft pools will refresh, replacing Week 1 Pool A and Pool B cards with a fresh set of Icons. The Draft-based structure introduced earlier this season continues to define event progression, and Capped Legends is fully embracing that model with weekly rotations.

As usual, EA revealed the upcoming players through silhouettes showing key details such as OVR, position, nationality, and the Icon badge. Even with limited information, the clues were more than enough for the community to narrow down the likely names.

117 OVR RW Icon from Argentina

The first teased card is a 117 OVR right winger Icon from Argentina. For most of the community, this one was almost instantly recognizable.

All signs point toward Diego Maradona, one of the most legendary figures in football history. The “Capped Legends” theme fits perfectly with his status, and a 117 OVR version would instantly become one of the most exciting attacking options in the game.

Given his past in-game impact, a high-rated Maradona card would likely offer elite dribbling, creativity, and game-changing attacking presence, making him a top-tier Draft target.

117 OVR LB Icon from England

The second teased card is a 117 OVR left back Icon from England. This one also appeared relatively straightforward for the community.

The overwhelming prediction is Ashley Cole, widely regarded as one of the best left backs of his generation. His defensive consistency and big-game performances make him a natural fit for the Capped Legends theme.

A 117 OVR Ashley Cole would likely become one of the most balanced fullback options available, offering defensive solidity combined with the pace needed in the current meta.

117 OVR CB Icon from Italy

The third teased card is a 117 OVR center back Icon from Italy, and this one has sparked more debate.

Several legendary Italian defenders fit the description. Names circulating within the community include Fabio Cannavaro, Giorgio Chiellini, and Franco Baresi.

Each of these Icons represents defensive excellence and leadership at the international level, perfectly aligning with the event’s “Capped Legends” concept. Additionally, since some of these players did not receive top-tier upgrades in the previous event cycle, a jump to 117 OVR now would make sense from a progression standpoint.

The final confirmation will arrive with the official banner reveal.

Draft Rotation Impact and Strategy

With Week 2 replacing Week 1 pools this Thursday UTC, players must evaluate their Draft strategy carefully. Once the rotation happens, Week 1 Icons will no longer be available in the current pools.

This weekly rotation system ensures that Capped Legends maintains momentum. Rather than stacking all major names at once, EA is spacing out high-tier Icons across multiple weeks. That keeps engagement strong while encouraging resource planning.

For competitive players, this refresh could significantly impact squad builds. A 117 OVR RW, LB, and CB all entering the pool simultaneously creates upgrades across attack and defense in one single Draft rotation.

Banner Reveal and Final Confirmation

As per EA’s usual content schedule, the full Week 2 banner is expected to drop tonight, officially confirming the teased players and showcasing additional supporting cards that will join the Draft pools.

The teaser alone has already generated strong hype within the community. If the predicted names are confirmed, Week 2 could easily become one of the most impactful rotations of the Capped Legends event so far.

With high-profile Icons, positional balance, and meta-relevant upgrades all aligning, this refresh has the potential to shift both competitive gameplay and market dynamics.

All eyes now turn to the official reveal and the Thursday UTC reset.
