Capped Legends Stream Recap

EA Sports FC Mobile has officially livestreamed the full reveal of Capped Legends, the brand-new main event that will replace Team of the Year this Thursday UTC. After six weeks of TOTY content built around the Draft system, FC Mobile now transitions into a four-week-long full-fledged event packed with weekly Draft rotations, new Heroes, progression chapters, and challenge modes.
Here’s a complete breakdown of everything shown during the stream.
Capped Legends Overview
Capped Legends will run for four weeks, with weekly new player drops in Draft, continuing the same universal Draft structure introduced during TOTY.
The key detail confirmed on stream is that the Draft system continues unchanged. Players will use the same FC Draft Voucher, which costs 3,000 gems per voucher, to open Capped Legends Draft packs. This keeps the ecosystem consistent and avoids introducing a new currency.
Each week will feature a fresh Draft pool, similar to how TOTY rotated players weekly.
Week 1 Highlight Cards and New Hero

The Week 1 banner showcased the headlining players for the opening week of Capped Legends. The biggest reveal was the arrival of a brand-new Hero in FC Mobile
Iván Zamorano arrives as a 116 OVR ST Hero, making his official debut in FC Mobile. His addition adds depth to the Hero roster and gives Chile representation at a high OVR tier.

This card will be available in the Week 1 Capped Legends Draft starting Thursday UTC.
Future Stars B Draft Also Confirmed

In addition to Capped Legends content, EA confirmed that Future Stars B will replace Future Stars A this Thursday UTC. A fresh batch of Future Stars players will enter the Draft pools, continuing that two-week event structure alongside the new main event.
Phase 2 Token Exchanges Continue
The Phase 2 Token Exchange system remains unchanged. Cards from 113 to 117 OVR can be exchanged for Phase 2 Tokens, allowing players to convert duplicate or unwanted cards into usable currency.
These tokens can then be used in the Player Exchange tab to claim cards from different events based on OVR. All previous event cards remain available in the exchange section, and Capped Legends players will be added on Thursday UTC using the same value structure and format.
Star Pass Player - 115 OVR Dunga
The Capped Legends Star Pass headline player is Dunga, arriving as a 115 OVR CDM.

His Star Pass version comes pre-Gold Ranked (115 OVR + 5 Rank Ups), making him immediately usable at a high competitive level without needing additional Rank Up Points. For players looking to strengthen their midfield defensively, this is a strong progression reward.
Event Theme and Core Progression
The overall theme of Capped Legends centers around earning caps for your national team. The event focuses on developing your player journey by completing challenges and building different abilities tied to national representation.

Players will earn and upgrade five main abilities

- Defending
- Dribbling
- Free Kick
- Passing
- Shooting
There is also an additional Adaptability Star system, which plays a key role in progression.
Chapter 1: Ability Training
In Chapter 1, players complete skill games to unlock and upgrade the five abilities. Unlike some previous events, all five abilities are available immediately. There is no waiting period or weekly unlock requirement.

Once all abilities are maxed, Chapter 1 is considered complete.
Chapter 2: Match Path and Fatigue System
Chapter 2 introduces a match-based progression path with varying conditions. Each match has different gameplay requirements and different fatigue levels.

If the total fatigue level reaches 12, progression stops for the day. Players must return the next day to continue the path. This daily limit encourages consistent participation rather than full-day grinding.
Reaching the end of the path rewards will reward 1 Draft Voucher and 1 Adaptability Star. Once players collect 3 Adaptability Stars, they complete this chapter.
Future Chapters
Two additional chapters will unlock in future weeks, expanding progression paths. Before starting certain paths, players will be able to choose their preferred Challenge Route, with some routes potentially offering different reward structures.
Rewards Chapter: Daily Dice System
A dedicated Rewards chapter introduces a Daily Dice roll mechanic, where players progress through a reward path by meeting specific requirements. This adds another layer of daily engagement.

The Capped Legends badge will also be unlockable as part of the reward structure, along with weekly featured player sets.

Final Thoughts
Capped Legends looks like a structured continuation of the Draft-focused ecosystem introduced during TOTY, but with a more interactive progression system built around abilities, fatigue management, and adaptability.
With a new Hero debut in Zamorano, a strong Star Pass Dunga card, weekly Draft refreshes, challenge modes, and continued Phase 2 Exchanges, the event appears content-heavy while maintaining familiar mechanics.
As TOTY ends this Thursday UTC, Capped Legends steps in with a balanced mix of Draft progression, daily grind, and event-themed storytelling centered around earning national caps.
