Pros

1. Versatility

Xavi is a versatile midfielder who can contribute to all aspects of play buildup, attacking runs, finishing, and even pressuring opponents in midfield. He’s the ideal orchestrator, always involved and influencing the game.

2. Speed and Acceleration

While not the fastest in the game, his speed and acceleration are solid, allowing him to quickly transition between attack and defense. This makes him effective in moving up the pitch or tracking back when needed.

3. Dribbling and Ball Control

Xavi's dribbling is elite. His close control is excellent, and with his smooth and agile movement, he can maneuver through tight spaces with ease. Joystick dribbling feels particularly fluid, and his quick turns make it easy to evade defenders.

4. Shooting

Xavi has decent shooting ability, particularly when it comes to shot power. His finesse shots are quite effective, with good curve, making him a threat from just outside the box.

5. Passing

One of Xavi's greatest strengths is his passing. He boasts exceptional vision and balance, allowing him to execute precise short and long passes. His ability to deliver pinpoint crosses and through balls makes him a playmaker in every sense.

6. Special Traits

His Playmaker and Team Player traits enhance his already outstanding passing and midfield orchestration, further adding value to his ability to dictate the pace of play.

Cons

1. Short Stature and Physicality

Xavi's short height and lack of physicality can make him struggle in aerial duels and against physically stronger opponents. He can be bullied off the ball by bigger, more aggressive midfielders.

2. Weak Foot Shooting

His weak foot shooting lacks power and accuracy, which limits his effectiveness in front of goal, especially when forced onto his weaker side.

3. Defensive Contribution

Xavi doesn’t contribute much defensively. He lacks the physical presence and defensive awareness to significantly impact defensive plays, making him more of an offensive or creative midfielder.

Conclusion

Xavi is an outstanding midfielder with excellent dribbling, ball control, and world-class passing, making him ideal for playmaking roles. However, his lack of physicality, weak foot shooting, and defensive contribution mean that he’s best suited for teams looking for creativity rather than physical dominance.
